So, if we do it early enough and DON'T use Polyurethane to seal the paint, we can get away with painting the house floor tomorrow.
If I can get at least one person to help with the house floor tomorrow at 7:00 am, that would be awesome. It's really a matter of one person can't lift the benches all by themselves. We should move the benches, masking tape the edge of the walls (to not get paint on them), mop and dry the floor THEN paint. I'll bring some towels from home so we can dry the floor quickly after mopping. There is some flat dark brown (yay wont show coffee and soda stains) garage floor paint in the back. We used that on the doors of the dressing room and I know it starts to dry withing an hour or two.
After this, I think it's just down to a once over cleaning whenever we can get in there for an hour or two any day of the week to keep the theater up until the next big project. There are a few more boxes to paint, but that will always be an up keep thing every few months. I know people have been asking about the dressing room floor but I know Chris as well as I have talked to Adam Rosencrans (Tres Stage art director) about his plans and want to leave it to him especially since he plans to seal the floor and then paint it and I know he brings in pros to do his work.
Pass on the word. I understand if ya can't make it because it's a weird time. I just need at least one person to help.
