We love our sister theaters well and it shows through the worn paint and little things here and there that need to be fixed. There is also the low ceiling issue at the Next Stage...

The point is, though we don't charge dues or do make our members sell magazines, we still need some way besides ticket sales to make improvements on our theaters.

Chipin.com is going to make it possible for us to have a money meter on our site for collecting contributions for theater improvements. What we want here are your suggestions of what needs to be improved.

So will there be an option to designate LA or OC for your donations?
I think this is a great ideal.

Either we need to decide to a) switch off priority per project b) poll for project priority c) have two click project meters, one for each theater.

As both theaters are operated by an individual, wouldn't the choice of where the money is spent rest primarily with him? In other words, he would know how to most effectively use the money so that both theaters can continue to thrive. It's very possible that an investment in one location at a particular time would help both locations stay afloat. Or, simply saving some money until one or the other location really needs it.

Basically, there aren't too many eyes involved in this that can see the whole monetary picture. Those of us that can't see it have to trust that the right thing is being done and lend our support where it'll help both theaters the most.

So, my vote is to switch off project priority and give that decision to the main man.
