Hey guys. There's a bunch of stuff we want to get done in the near future. The first wave is painting. We're going to need help cleaning up the dressing room real thoroughly, then we're going to paint in there and repaint the boxes. We'll be working early Wednesday and/or Thursday mornings, depending on schedules and depending on who's in the theater those days. We plan to get a really early start so that all wet paint will be dry before rehearsals start.

Anybody down for helping out?

We're looking at some ideas for flooring and maybe some kind of dimmable incandescent setup in the house section of the theater, but that won't be immediate.

Finally, to the StanleyTheWhale crew: I posted some new stuff over there. We should get a new assignment up and get more going on over there!

I would help, but I'm never awake in the morning. Unless of course you mean 3am... in which case I will be awake.

I can try to make it in on an upcoming Wed or Thurs. Also, will-do regarding the StW project. Let's discuss in person.

We are going to do Thursday morning ass crack of dawnage. 6 am.

9 hours of painting and cleaning. There is still the other side of the dressing room to cover but we ran out of paint. So we'll be in again next week to finish the paint job.

Well, I feel like a total goober. I missed the day of painting. I did end up at work for 10 hours on both Wednesday and Thursday, but that doesn't really help the theater, does it.

I'll make up for missing the painting in other ways. Stay tuned!

Great job gang! The dressing room looks great!

So we're going to do a Wednesday cleaning at the ass crack of dawn to finish what we couldn't last week. We'll be painting the other side of the dressing room and cleaning the area around the backstage restroom, hanging another set of curtains behind the center doors.

Then I think we'll have the place pretty much under control. I'll be straightening probably once a week before or after rehearsal.

If we can get it in our system to notice what needs to be picked up and thrown away or swept, we will keep the place in good shape.

And if you are in a show, it would be nice if anyone would volunteer to clean the bathrooms before the show. All you have to do is sweep, empty the trash, use the scrubber on the toilets with the disinfectant.
